The weather is hot and sunny. For many young Polish couples, Crete has been a long-awaited vacation destination. It’s also a fantastic travel destination for a romantic honeymoon. Adrianna and Andrzej were no different. They packed their things the day after the wedding, boarded the plane, and landed on this beautiful island after a short flight. Their Super Plan for an ideal honeymoon trip to Greece was to spend a few days just the two of them exploring the most interesting parts of Crete. We also had an exciting Wedding Photo Session in Chania because they wanted to get ahead with my offer.
We began our adventure in Crete at the Chania airport. From there, we drove to Balos Beach on Crete’s northernmost coast. We arrived in one of Crete’s most gorgeous locations after an hour in the car. I’ve been to this welcoming Greek island numerous times. I can also claim to have almost everywhere on the Island. The lovely sandy beach in Balos, on the other hand, never ceases to amaze me. Although the trek to this lovely location is arduous, it is well worth the effort. Even after passing through the bumps at the end of the route.
The scorching heat of the day had taken its toll on us. So much so that in Chania’s Old Port, we skipped the photos in “formal attire.” Both Adrianna and Andrzej were hesitant to wear a suit and a wedding gown because the temperature reached 35 degrees in the shade. Fortunately, we were prepared for any situation, and the really fantastic T-shirts – in which they wanted to take a few commemorative photos on the port boardwalk – passed the test as well.
We ended our wedding photo shoot in yet another interesting location on the island, and despite a few small hiccups on the way back to the airport, I have fond memories of this trip. This isn’t due to the scorching heat of August.
