A romantic honeymoon trip is a dream of many couples who want their wedding to be perfect. Sandra and Marcin, enamoured with their previous trip to Greece, decided to make their dream come true and come visit Athens while on their honeymoon. Naturally, one of the many reasons behind choosing their destination was the desire to have a session with the Acropolis, Cape Sounion and Poseidon’s temple in the background. I decided to surprise Sandra and Marcin and I took them to the mountains nearby Athens. This little trip helped them relax when we were taking photos. The initial stress dissipated and it helped show the fun and light vibe which was there the whole day, and allowed me to show in the pictures what is most important in wedding photography – their feelings and emotions. After a short session in the mountains we made our way to Athens city centre where we took a few photos with the classical buildings. We decided to use the last rays of the sun to take more photos at Filopappou near the Acropolis. This stunning place has the full view of the city and the ancient Parthenon. Sandra and Marcin grew to like the results from the photo session so much so that they chose to continue their adventure with photography. The one-of-a-kind view of the ancient temple of Poseidon at sunset is truly magical. Wouldn’t you agree?
